Santa’s Spritzer

Santa’s Spritzer! The perfect Holiday Cocktail for any party or get together. With only 3 ingredients and optional garnishes, this drink is a breeze to make by the pitcher or individual glass. Festive and delicious, cheers to that!

Step 1:

Grab 5 Champagne glasses and sugar the rim by dipping the champagne glass rim in a shallow bowl or plate of water. Shake off the water slightly, then dip the champagne glass rim in a shallow bowl of sugar. Move the glass around in a circular motion, if needed, to evenly coat the rim.

STEP 2:

Add 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier to each glass.

STEP 3:

Fill 1/3 of each glass up with cranberry pomegranate juice. I like to also add fresh cranberries & pomegranate seeds at the bottom, but this is completely optional.

STEP 4:

Top each glass off with Prosecco or Champagne, either one works great!

Step 5:

Garnish with rosemary twigs and sugared cranberries. For the sugared cranberries, lightly roll them in water. Remove any excess water and skewer 3 cranberries onto a toothpick. Sprinkle sugar over the top to coat.

Step 6: ENJOY!

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Prosecco or Champagne

  • 2 1/2 ounces of Grand Marnier

  • 1 1/4 cup Cranberry Pomegranate Juice*

  • Garnish with rosemary twig, cranberries, & pomegranate seeds, optional.**

Instructions:

Santa’s Spritzer by the Pitcher

  1. To make a pitcher: ADD ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER in a large pitcher, boom, done! Enjoy!

Santa’s Spritzer by the Glass:

  1. To make individual glasses: Grab 5 Champagne glasses and sugar coat the rim by dipping the champagne glass rim in a shallow bowl or plate of water. Shake off the water slightly, then dip the champagne glass rim in a shallow bowl of sugar. Move the glass around in a circular motion, if needed, to evenly coat the rim

  2. Add 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier to each glass

  3. Fill 1/3 of each glass up with cranberry pomegranate juice. I like to also add fresh cranberries & pomegranate seeds at the bottom at this point

  4. Top each glass off with Prosecco or Champagne

  5. Garnish with rosemary twigs and sugared cranberries. For the sugared cranberries, lightly roll them in water. Remove any excess water and skewer 3 cranberries onto a toothpick. Sprinkle sugar over the top to coat, rolling them around lightly, and place on rim of glass

Notes:

*Can’t find the cran pom juice, that’s okay! Use 1 1/4 cup equal parts cranberry juice and pomegranate juice

**If you were to pick one garnish, my suggestion would be to go with the rosemary. Even though it sits on top, the rosemary adds a wonderful, subtle flavor to the drink!
