Fig, Goat Cheese, Prosciutto Bites
In need of an elevated appetizer?! These fig, goat cheese, prosciutto bites are for YOU!! They are creamy, tangy, sweet, crispy, and salty in every bite. They come together so quickly, making a great everyday snack but also are fancy enough to be a perfect hors d'oeuvre for cocktail or dinner parties!
Figs: I use organic fresh black figs, they are sweet and have a nice texture to hold firm for this appetizer
Goat Cheese: I like to use jalapeño and honey chevre goat’s milk cheese for a little bit of a spicy kick, you can find this at Trader Joe’s, but any chevre flavor will work well
Prosciutto: Sliced thin, this Italian meat gives a nice salty and crispy texture after baked
Fig, Goat Cheese, prosciutto Bites

Cut top off figs and slice in half. Add about a tsp dollop of goat cheese to the flat side of fig, then wrap a slice of prosciutto around the halved fig to hold in the goat cheese. Repeat until all figs are done. Place all wrapped fig halves onto a baking sheet
Bake in a 400 F degree preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until prosciutto is crispy. Remove from oven and drizzle with honey and balsamic vinegar. Serve right away, enjoy
This citrus sangria is a crowd pleaser! It has a light and bright flavor from the citrus fruit that makes it so refreshing and tasty. It’s the perfect balance of tart from the grapefruit and a hint of sweet from the orange. Although citrus fruit is often found in summertime drinks, I always like to serve them during the winter holidays too! Especially since we could all use an extra dose of vitamin C during that time.
