Chocolate Peanut Clusters
Does anyone remember the flour shortage of 2020 during the pandemic? During that time, I had to get creative with my sweets. More than ever I needed a sweet treat during that time, but couldn’t bake because - well, no flour! This was my solution and I truly believe regardless of your flour levels at home now, you’ll be grabbing for the easy 3 pantry ingredients to make these!! I store them in the freezer, making these chocolate peanut clusters even more irresistible on hot summer days! I have a feeling you are going to constantly want them just as much as I do.
Chocolate Peanut Clusters
Ingredients
1 - 12 ounce bag semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 1/2 cup peanuts
Instructions
Add chocolate chips to a bowl and microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between each time, until chocolate is fully melted
Heat peanut butter for 20 seconds, then stir into melted chocolate. Add peanuts to chocolate mixture and stir until combined. On a parchment lined baking sheet, scoop out clusters and place in the freezer until frozen, for about 15 minutes. Enjoy
*Note: add in any nuts or dried fruit you would like! Also store in the freezer to keep fresh and on demand whenever you need one!
Made with a whole box of fruity crispy rice cereal - there’s beautiful pops of purple and orange in every bite, a whole bag of mini marshmallows, some butter, and sweetened condensed milk. Believe me, it’s so hard to eat just one! They’re a perfect treat to bring to a family gathering, over to a friend’s house for a sweet surprise, or a lunch box treat.
