Everyone loves a good cheeseburger but let’s make them pull apart and sharable! These super easy cheeseburger sliders have special sauce, caramelized onions, American cheese and a well seasoned patty. They’re simple but absolutely delicious, plus they are made in one pan for minimum clean up! I have a feeling they will be a family favorite for kiddos and adults alike!

These cheeseburger sliders are great for game day food, tailgating, or just a weeknight dinner.

Cheeseburger Sliders

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef

  • 1/2 onion, diced

  • 5 slices American cheese

  • 1 package Hawaiian rolls

  • salt & pepper

  • 2 tbsp mayo

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 1 tbsp relish

Instructions

  • In a quarter sheet baking pan, place an oversized sheet of parchment paper. In the middle of the baking sheet place ground beef. Cover the top of ground beef with the parchment paper that hangs over the sides of baking sheet. Using the palms of your hands, press meat down into the baking sheet until completely flat and spread in the shape of the baking sheet. Salt and pepper the top of patty really well

  • Heat an electric skillet or flat skillet pan large enough to fit the rectangular meat patty. Add oil to the pan and flip the large rectangular patty onto the flat pan. Salt and pepper the top of this side (now both sides should be salt and peppered). Sauté diced onions on the side of meat. After about 3 minutes, flip large burger over to cook other side. Cook beef for another 3-5 minutes or until cooked through. Add sautéed onions on top of beef and top with American cheese slices. Cover for a minute to melt cheese

  • In a small bowl add mayo, ketchup and relish. Mix together well. Cut Hawaiian rolls horizontally in half. Take the top off and spread burger sauce all over. Take huge rectangular burger patty out of the skillet and add on top of the bottom buns then cover with top of buns and serve
