S’mores Popcorn

The perfect snack to elevate your movie night popcorn! This easy snack comes together in minutes and has all the flavor of s’mores with mini mallow bits, crushed graham crackers, and chocolate chips! It’s great for parties, treat bags, movie nights, or just an every treat.

Popcorn: To make this recipe super easy, use precooked popcorn. You will need plain popcorn with no flavoring like butter, cheese, etc.

Chocolate Chips: Semi sweet chocolate chips are the ones that I use in this recipe, however feel free to mix it up with dark chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, whatever your preference

Mallow Bits: These are the tiny dried mini marshmallows used in hot chocolate, but you can definitely substitute them for mini marshmallows, the texture will be different though

Graham Cracker: When crushing graham crackers keep some bigger pieces like 1/4 - 1/2 inch size for a little added crunch in the popcorn

Mini Chocolate Chips: Use whatever kind of mini chocolate chips you’d like! The addition of the mini chocolate chips adds a nice touch of chocolate besides the chocolate that coats the popcorn

S’mores Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 7 cups pre-made popcorn

  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup mallow bits

  • 2 graham crackers, crushed

  • sprinkle of salt

Instructions

  • In a bowl add semi sweet chocolate chips and heat in 30 second increments, stirring in between each increment, until chocolate is fully melted. In a large bowl add pre-made popcorn and drizzle melted chocolate over the top. Gently stir to coat the chocolate over the popcorn

  • Add in mini chocolate chips, mallow bites, and crushed graham crackers over the top. Gently stir again until the mini chocolate chips, mallow bites, and crushed graham crackers are coating the chocolate covered popcorn. Spread popcorn on a parchment lined baking sheet to allow the chocolate to harden. Once the chocolate is set, pour into a bowl and enjoy

Note:

If you need the chocolate to harden quicker, set in the refrigerator on the baking sheet. This will help the chocolate set faster with the colder temperature!
