15 Minute Sesame Garlic Noodles

Weeknight dinners can be exhausting to think about, but they don’t have to be! These sesame garlic noodles can be made in under 15 minutes and are a HUGE HUG in a bowl. So comforting and delicious, it takes the stress out of the dinner time hustle and bustle!

These noodles are loaded with flavor and full of veggies and protein for a complete meal all made in one pan. Hello minimum mess and dishes! I like to use a bagged shredded cabbage / carrot mix for an even faster and more convenient dish.

15 Minute Sesame Garlic Noodles

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces Hokkien stir fry noodles - vacuumed packed

  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 2 cups shredded green / red cabbage with carrots

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 3 green onions, chopped white & green parts separated

  • Sesame seeds

  • Avocado oil

Sauce

  • 4 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey

  • 1 1/2 tbsp sesame oil

  • white pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Add oil to a large skillet over medium heat. While oil is heating mix together all ingredients for sauce. Once oil is hot, add in ground chicken and break apart with a wooden spoon while cooking. Pour in 2 tbsp of sauce and finishing cooking chicken. Once done, remove ground chicken from pan

  • Add more oil into pan and pour in shredded cabbage/carrot mix. Cook for about 2 minutes or until wilted and move cabbage to outer edges of skillet creating a circle in the middle. Pour garlic and white parts of the green onion to the middle of the pan. Cook until fragrant about 1 minute, continuously stirring and mix back in with the cabbage

  • Add the cooked ground chicken back to the pan, give everything good stir mixing together, and add in noodles. Pour the sauce in and mix everything until combined. Cook for another 2 - 3 minutes. Top with sesame seeds, green onions and serve
