Philly Cheesesteak Pinwheels
Ingredients
1 lb frozen pizza dough or homemade pizza dough
1 lb shaved beef steak, sliced
1/4 green bell pepper, chopped
1/4 red bell pepper, chopped
1/4 onion, chopped
4 mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp season salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 cup nacho cheese sauce
1 1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese or Italian cheese blend
1 tbsp butter
Instructions
Add butter to a hot skillet and place in shaved beef. Brown meat, about 5 minutes, then add in green and red bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, season salt, pepper, and worcestershire sauce. Cook until vegetables are soft, about 3 minutes
On lightly oil parchment paper, form pizza dough into a 9x13 rectangle. Spread nacho cheese sauce onto the pizza dough, leaving a 1 inch boarder around the perimeter. Layer on meat mixture and evenly top with shredded Italian cheese blend. Using parchment paper, tightly roll the dough longways like a cinnamon roll. Gently press the middle to seal the dough together. Slice the roll into 7 pieces and place into a cast iron skillet, leaving room between the pieces
Bake in a 425 degree preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is bubbly. Serve with extra nacho cheese sauce
