Belgian Liege Waffles
These Belgian Liege waffles are truly perfect! When you take that first bite, you instantly realize it’s worth every second proofing the dough. The pearl sugar caramelizes on the outside for that crispy crust, while the inside is nice and fluffy! The toppings for the Belgian waffles are endless. I created a Belgian waffle charcuterie board a couple months ago when my husband and I hosted family brunch at our house and it was a hit. I can’t take credit for this recipe though, as I found it on the back of the Belgian Pearl Sugar bag from the brand Waffle Pantry. While these do take a little bit to make, I will say they freeze well! I like to keep them in stock so whenever we want them it’s already done. I just make up a batch, freeze them, and when you’re ready, pop it in the toaster to heat up. Watch our TikTok making the Belgian Waffles HERE.
